ProLiteracy Worldwide Site Improvements, Syracuse, New York

Site improvements for the campus of ProLiteracy Worldwide (formerly Laubach Literacy) were implemented to enhance the two adjoining properties and unify them to provide a true “campus” milieu. The scope of the work included main parking lot improvements (new pavement, curbing, sidewalks, drainage system and landscaping); roadway lighting and light-up for signs; new concrete stairs and walkway to the storage building; a new walkway with stairs, lighting and landscaping to connect the Administration Building with the Distribution Center; regrading to correct drainage problems; and exterior rehabilitation work for the old storage buildings. The site improvements created a more residential sense of space and facilitated accessible pedestrian access between all buildings on the properties.
